Navigation arrows for text processors

Say you’re writing a big piece of text – like a master’s thesis or some sorts. You have progressed pretty well and have already written over 40 pages. Playing around with the line-height value, you could even push that number to 50.

Suddenly, you want to check out something you wrote in one of the first chapters and quickly get back to the position where you were editing. Wouldn’t it be nice to have navigation arrows in Word or TeXnicCenter or whatever, allowing you to quickly get back or forth in your document navigation history? I think I should file this idea for patent 🙂
